The 'Plus' Biostone Filter will bring filtration to the .1 Micron level of purification. It is the 'plus' in Ionways / Jupiter water ionizer replacement filters.

PLUS Replacement Filter: .1M Biostone Filter uses nine (9) levels of filtration. The Biostone Filter uses silver impregnated GAC, calcium, tourmaline and a fiber mesh system. The components in this filter make up one very effective filtration system.

The Tourmaline is a semi precious stone. If you are not familiar with tourmaline it is an amazing component of this filtration system because it is 'natures source of far infrared (FIR) and negative ions'. It is the Tourmaline that generates FIR that purifies the water, and acts like a 'supercharger', assisting the water alkalizer to ionize and alkalize.
